2008 Runescape Events
Halloween event 2008 in runescape?
what do I do?
this is my first event in runescape.
i dont know where to go, or what I need to be doing?
I know nothing about it.;;;can someone fill me in please?

where can I buy a costume?
1. Go to south of Falador (Click on the map and the place is located with a "gift" icon).
2. Talk to Maggie (I think that's how she's named) about Trick or Treat. Action on Maggie's Cauldron and you'll get the "Trick" emote.
3. Wear a costume (like random event items or items from provious events or go buy a non-combat wear, like priest outfit, I think it works).
4. Go to NPC's (non-players) from Port Sarim, Draynor and Rimmington and Trick or Treat them.
5. If they say treat they'll give you candy, if they say trick, click ok and do the "Trick" emote and they'll give you candy.
6. After getting all candies needed go back to Maggie, talk about Trick or Treat and give her the candies. She will give you a Warlock or Witch costume.
7. Talk to Maggie again, but this time talk about Swept Away quest. She will give you a broom.
8. Go to Draynor witch and talk to her about the broom. You'll have to slove a puzzle to get the broom enchanted.
9. Go to Port Sarim at Magic shop, talk to the seller about the broom. She will tell you that you have to slove a puzzle here too, to get the broom enchanted.
10. Go to Rimmington (South of where Maggie is) and talk to the witch from there. To get the broom enchanted you have to climb down on the trapador near her room and bring her something. There you have to slove a puzzle too.
11. After the broom was Enchanted by all witches go back to Maggie and talk to her. She will tell you that you need to Use the broom on her Cauldron.
12. Do so, and you will get 1 Quest Point, you'll keep the broom and you will have the permission to take 10 bowls of goulash from her Cauldron (Each bowl give experience when drinked).
If you don't manage to slove the puzzles, search the internet for guides.

How many days till Runescape Halloween events comes out. (2008)
Should be within 2 days. Most probably tomorrow. They said the update would be in October and Halloween is in October. Anyway, JAGEX normally release holiday events a few days or a week before the date.
