i am a level 51 my att 42,def41,str42,hp48 can i beat the dragon if i have a rune chainbody med helm and legs and 2h rune sword?
yes, just bring food and get a rune scimmy and anti dragonfire sheild (w/o face) causse the fire will screw you over , or go to rune hq

runescape, vimpire quest?
I have the stake and a black warhammer. I kill him with a sword then i go to use the stake and it doent work?
what am i doing wrong. do I click use on the stake the click use with on the hammer?

are you carrying garlic, a stake and a hammer? if not get those then all you have to do is eat and attack and once hes dead basically then use the stake on him. If your not carrying those items then use this guide to figure out how to get them
and i think i know whats wrong after reading your info again, you need a regular hammer instead of a black warhammer, so go to the general store and buy a hammer with like 1 gp and then go back and kill the vampire again
