Runescape Treasure Trails

how do i get into treasure trails in runescape?

is it a quest? or is it a minigame? how do i start it plz help!!!! and just asking if u have any free acounts let me have it st3v3nh0@yahoo.com

It's sort of like a minigame kind of thing. In order to start you have to be a member and go to the observatory south of ardougne (I think it is at least, somewhere in that area). Talk to the professor there and he sends you on a quest to get a sextant, watch and chart from various places. These objects are required to solve most treasure trails (sometimes you don't get them but most of the time you do).

Monsters will occasionally drop clue scrolls. It's totally random, I've gotten a clue scroll from a monster, done it, then gone back to kill another and got another clue the first monster I kill (ie 2 in a row), and another time I killed about 1400 ankou before I got a scroll. You can only have one scroll at a time.

There are 3 levels, level 3 is the hardest and gives the best reward. The best monster to get these from is the level 75 ankou in stronghold of security level 4. Once you have a clue, they have hints to the next, such as a reading for the sextant, a riddle, an anagram etc. Once you solve it you go there to get the next. How do i get a second chart for runescape treasure trails?

I had to quit members and now i am a member again. I need the chart to find the next clue. I talked with the Professor and Assistant still nothing.

I am not sure but check www.runehq.com on the item database and then the chart, or the Mini-Game, Mini-Quest area on rune hq. You might need to do the observatory quest to get the Chart, I'm not sure.
