Runescape Treasure Trails

Runescape- Treasure Trails - Clue Scrolls - Inventory space in relation to reward ?

I've been doing a bunch of lvl 3 clue scrolls, about four so far as a member. I'd like to know specifically like that once you complete it, and you get the casket, does the amount of room in your inventory affect the item(s) you'll get and like, if you have no room, will the casket just disappear leaving behind 1 awesome item? Cause I figured that JUST as I finished a lvl 3 clue scroll, I noticed that I had 5 extra open spaces from the sharks I ate, because the zamorak wizard did some pretty good dmg to me. Coincidentally, when I opened casket right on the spot, it gave me items filling up the spot of the casket as well as the open spaces, giving me some crappy sharks, rune helm (h1), and some other junk that clearly wasn't worth my time.
Let's say, I complete the treasure trail. Bring casket with me back to bank. Fill up all room of inventory with random etc etc. items. THEN open casket, is there a chance i'd get a single item such as ...oh....idk.....3rd age item or what-not?

From what I have experienced, the most valuable item(s) will remain in the inventory and any other items will appear on the ground. If there is no room, everything will go on the ground. No, it does not disappear, but you should be able to make room to open the casket. Even if some ends up on the ground, you should still be able to grab it. I don't know why anyone would open the reward casket in a dangerous area/situation anyways.

Yea, clue scrolls tend to suck, even the level 3 ones...I'm pretty sure if you grind and grind clue after clue it might pay out, but usually a 100K reward is definitely not worth the 30min to an hour of time wasted treasure hunting (when I can easily make at least 300K an hour killing green drags even when I'm lolligagging) so it's kind of a gamble. Oh and you should probably post this on the RS forums so you can get more feedback.

To your additional details (lol), no, I'm pretty sure your chances don't change at all according to the amount of items in your inventory.
