how do you play runescape 2 not 3?
Runescape 3 doesn't exist.
There's Runescape Classic, Runescape 2 and maybe Runescape 2 could be reffered to as Runescape 3 if you're playing in HD.
Runescape Classic:
You can't create accounts on this anymore, only those that played back in 2004 or 2002 and before that can still play it (on the condition that they log into it at least once every 6 months). Players had the option to transfer their character into a Runescape 2 account when it came out. Trust me though, you don't want to play it lol. The graphics are awful and the training is more monotonous than it is now.
Runescape 2:
Was released in 2002 or 2004 (I could check up on it but I'm too lazy). This is the one you know as 'Runescape' today and is what everyone logs into when they create an account.
Runescape 3:
Often people in F2P will talk about it saying there's a Beta testing period or something and to go to a site that they say. It's just a keylogger, so report them under Rule 11.
If you're referring to HD, just click on the ratchet symbol for options, then click on graphics options and switch to standard detail.
Jagex has said that there's not much of a chance of them coming out with a Runescape 3, so don't believe it if anyone says otherwise in the near future.

help on Runescape(2)?
ok see this is what happened.
My brothers and i were up until 3 playing runescape, after we were told to get off at 11. So now we have been restricted from it---and they said we will never get it back...its been about 2 months.
But here is my question. If i dont get on for a while, will my acount be deleted?i have a lvl 50 with lots of stuff and im afraid il lose it. will it get deleted after a certain time of no logging on?
no i havent played it in like a year and my account still works
